Abstract
In acetonitrile nitric oxide was made to react with p-chloroaniline in the presence of copper (II) bromide at room temperature. The resulting p-chlorobromobenzene was determined by flame ionization and/or electron capture gas chromatography. The influence of several gases which coexist with nitric oxide on this reaction was investigated briefly. Keywords
