Abstract
Four house sparrows (Passer domesticus) observed near Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, were probably accidental imports from Australia. Agricultrual and wildlife authorities were alerted to the presence of these birds, but the birds had disappeared before control measures could be effected. Presumably, the species was insufficiently adapted to the humid tropics. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
