Abstract
144 PRESCHOOL SS WERE PRESENTED A TRANSFER-OF-DISCRIMINATION TASK IN WHICH THE VARIABLES WERE OVERT VERBALIZING, OVERTRAINING, DIMENSION, AND SHIFT. DIMENSION WAS FOUND TO INTERACT WITH EACH OF THE OTHER VARIABLES IN DETERMINING TRANSFER PERFORMANCE. WHEN COLOR WAS THE RELEVANT DIMENSION, VERBALIZING AND OVERTRAINING EACH HAD SIMILAR FACILITATING EFFECTS.
