Abstract
Three commercial peptones were found to contain no traces of vitamin B1. There was no direct relation between the vitamin B1 content of peptones and their ability to stimulate the growth of organisms which require a vitamin B-like factor. Vitamin B1 concentrates of proved potency for rats did not always promote growth of organisms. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
