Abstract
A patient with total collapse of the vertebral bodies ("vertebra plana") is described. The symptoms and objective findings were caused by a malignant lymphoma, and the diagnosis was established from a drill biopsy. It is recommended that a biopsy be performed in patients with "vertebra plana".Keywords
