Abstract
Nitric oxide plays several crucial roles in control of blood pressure and kidney function and in the dietary response to salt in normal humans and animals. Nitric oxide deficiency leads to hypertension and renal damage in experimental animals and may be related to the development of some hypertensive disorders in people.Keywords
