The first stable aldehyde and ketone complexes of zinc: the structure of [Zn(SeC6H2But3)2(p-OCHC6H4OMe)]2

Abstract
The reaction of Zn(EC6H2But 3)2(E = S or Se) with organic carbonyl compounds gives the first isolable aldehyde and ketone complexes of zinc as models for transient metal-substrate complexes in metalloenzymes such as liver alcohol dehydrogenase.
