Leiomyoma of the fallopian tube

Abstract
A relatively rare benign tumor of the fallopian tube is presented, i.e. an intramural leiomyoma, which was incidentally found during histologic examination of the tubal isthmus excised for sterilization. The literature is briefly reviewed. Ein verhältnismäßig seltener gutartiger Tumor des Eileiters, ein intramurales Leiomyom, wird beschrieben, das bei histologischer Untersuchung des Isthmus, der zum Zweck der Sterilisierung entfernt wurde, zufällig gefunden wurde. Die Literatur wird kurz diskutiert.
