Abstract
After more than two years of experience with the Family Health Care Project at Yale it appears to those involved that rational and comprehensive medical care, with emphasis placed on health maintenance of families, is possible with this type of medical care organization. The health team has identified and managed complex family health problems with encouraging results. It is important to establish the procedural system in great detail before inauguration of a new program. The use of this health team model for the teaching of comprehensive medicine to medical students appears to have much value. Keywords
