Abstract
The problems of depth zonation are discussed briefly with reference to the author''s recent work on community patterns in the Lower Silurian of mid-continental North America. Major vertical changeovers among coral-algal, pentamerian and stricklandian communities are considered due only to changes in water depth. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
