Abstract
The nonuniform extended states above the mobility edge in disordered systems can be described as resonance states in single potential wells with the scattering length being essentially the correlation length ξ. The conductivity is then determined in terms of its weak-scattering limit and the bound or resonance wave function in an effective potential well. Keywords
