Abstract
In a pion—-ray coincidence spectrum from 190-MeV reactions with , prominent lines are observed corresponding to the equivalent removal of , , , , , and . When the data are normalized to removal and compared to the inclusive singles -ray data, pion-scattering cross sections on the order of (50-100)% of the total for these reactions are implied.
