Abstract
Visual assessments and fungal isolations were used to determine the distribution and severity of fungal gummosis of peach trees caused by B. dothidea. The disease is present in the major peach-producing areas in central and southern Georgia, central Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and possibly Texas and Tennessee. The disease is apparently not present in North or South Carolina, Mississippi, or Arkansas.
