Abstract
To the Editor: In the January 1 issue of the Journal, Manconi et al. reported1 data on the percentages of T and B lymphocytes in normal cerebrospinal fluid. They suggested that only recirculating T cells pass from blood to cerebrospinal fluid, in a manner similar to what is known to happen for peripheral lymph. They also seemed to be aware only of the observation of Mann et al.,2 in a case of T-cell lymphoma, on the characteristics of lymphocytes present in cerebrospinal fluid.Four years ago we reported3 that cells obtained from cerebrospinal fluid of seven children affected . . .Keywords
