Abstract
The possible routes by which Pasteurella pneumotropica could have gained access to the animals in a strictly barrier-maintained unit, where it established an infection of the upper respiratory tract, are discussed. Details of management before and after the breakdown and the methods of restocking the same building as rapidly as possible with uninfected animals are described. Keywords
