Abstract
In healthy, adult mongrel dogs one ureter was surgically brought into close contact with arteries, in order to determine the effect of this procedure on the development of hydro-nephrosis. Hydronephrosis was produced in animals whose ureter was placed near the aorta and inferior mesenteric artery, but no such changes occurred after displacement of the ureter to intimate contact with external iliac or inferior mesenteric arteries. Keywords
