THE RÔLE OF THE LIVER AND OTHER ABDOMINAL VISCERA IN THE DESTRUCTION OF EPINEPHRIN IN THE BODY

Abstract
Pressor effects of intraven. epinephrine were studied in normal, dehepatized and eviscerated dogs. No evidence was found to support the belief that destruction is the special function of the liver or other abdominal viscera. This destruction apparently occurs throughout the body.
