Abstract
The neutron diffraction study of liquid Bi-Sn alloys has been carried out to reveal their characteristic structure. The low lying shoulder on the high angle side of the first peak in the structure factor can be observed for all alloy compositions presently investigated. This shoulder could be attributable to a ledge-type pair potential in the system, of which origin has also been discussed. Keywords
