Abstract

Accurate differential cross sections have been measured at 90° for the reaction

{}^{3}H (p, γ_{0}) {}^{4}{He}

at

E_{p} = 8.34 and 13.6

MeV. Previously published results for both

{}^{3}H (p, γ_{0}) {}^{4}{He}

and

{}^{4}{He} (γ, p_{0}) {}^{3}H

are reviewed and compared with the present data. The theoretical implications of the results are briefly discussed.
