Abstract
Two strains of codling moth, Laspeyresia pomonella (L.), that had been colonized for 23 and 35 generations, respectively, were irradiated and released into similar trapping plots in apple and pear orchards. Sixteen releases were made. Recaptures of the 23-generation strain with synthetic sex pheromone baited Sectar-I® traps were significantly greater than recaptures of the 35-generation strain, but there were significant differences in response due to host. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
