Autoimmune Haemolytic Anaemia due to Red Cell Antibodies of Different Specificities in a Patient with Chronic Hepatitis

Abstract
A patient with chronic hepatitis with associated autoimmune phenomena developed red cell antibodies with specificities in the I blood group system and against stored red cells. These antibodies were all IgM in type and caused in vivo haemolysis which responded to treatment with corticosteroids.Keywords
