Abstract
By collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, nutrition educators can enhance the quality of nutrition education and increase physician awareness of the expertise available to them. This survey was conducted to obtain information from physicians regarding specific needs related to nutrition education, with emphasis on the use of and need for printed materials. The results were then used to guide the direction of a Cooperative Extension/School of Medicine program to benefit physicians and their patients. Keywords
