Abstract
Qualitative properties of molecular resonances in the 12C + 12C system are examined in correlation with the 16C + 8Be and the 20Ne + α channels by the use of a microscopic theory on the basis of the coupled channel generator coordinate method. An intermediate 12C + 12C* (0+, 7.56 MeV) channel is introduced as an important path from the 12C + 12C to the others. This channel is responsible for dynamical structural change of the 12C + 12C system involving the formation of a stable 16O nucleus during scattering process. Roles of this channel for the molecular resonances are studied by various kinds of calculations. Keywords
