Abstract
The two species of Nassarius (usually known as Nassa), N. reticulatus and N. incrassatus, are both common at Plymouth. N. reticulatus, the larger species, occurs from low water usually to a depth of a few fathoms, more rarely from the waters outside the Breakwater, N. incrassatus occurring between tide-marks and extending into deeper water, even to 46 fathoms. Keywords
