() Reaction as a Spectroscopic Tool for Investigating High-Spin States

Abstract
A detection system has been developed and used to investigate the () reaction at 65 MeV on , , and targets. Extreme spectroscopic selectivity with preferential population of final states with character was observed. Applications of this experimental technique to the detection of other unbound reaction products are proposed.
