Abstract
Cross sections for evaporation residue formation have been measured for the systems 28,30Si+58,62,64Ni in the energy range from about 0.9 up to 1.2 times the conventional Coulomb barrier. The fusion cross sections cover more than four orders of magnitude from ∼30 μb to ∼500 mb, and show isotopic effects which are interpreted in the frame of the model involving coupling of the entrance channel with positive and negative Q-value reaction channelsKeywords
