Abstract
Synthesis of the sequence 71-86 of human proinsulin (sequence 6-21 of human insulin A-chain) via fragments 71-78 and 79-86 is described. Good solubility of protected peptide derivatives belonging to sequences 75-78, 79-86 and 71-78 and of fragment 71-86 itself in organic solvents allows quick and efficient purification of these derivatives by liquid chromatography on silica-gel columns. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
