Abstract
Health care executives creating integrated networks face momentous information management challenges. To sort out the strategic issues, H&HN editors recruited a panel of well-known health care leaders. Our panelists identified a host of issues: strengthening the CIO role, making clinical information systems more useful to clinicians, sorting out the role of community health information networks, and handling complex vendor collaboration issues.
