Abstract
Several formulations are available for the interpretation of reversed refraction profiles in terms of any number of plane dipping layers. Split‐spread profiles can be interpreted using the same methods. This procedure requires that the intercept times at the origin from data in opposite directions be equal. It can be applied usefully in combination with reversed profiles. Keywords
