Abstract
Confirmation is provided of the occurrence of the etiologic agents of tularemia and a low-grade form of Rocky Mountain spotted fever in the rabbit tick, Haemaphysalis leporis-palustris, taken off snowshoe hares in Alaska. The incidence of diagnosed human tularemia is increasing, 8 cases having been reported from central Alaska since 1946.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
