Abstract
THERE is a constant fascination in all men concerning power and authority. One of the most successful of all human organizations in gathering to itself these vaunted objectives in modern times has been the Supreme Court of the United States. In two now very famous decisions, Roe vs. Wade1 and Doe vs. Bolton,2 these nine men have again displayed their prowess in this field.By a strong majority (seven to two) the Court has struck down the abortion-control laws of most of the states as unconstitutional on the basis of their invasion of the privacy of the pregnant woman.
