Abstract
Methods of extraction from pharmaceutical formulations and subsequent determination of benzoic acid and salicylic acid by spectrofluorimetry are described. The recovery of benzoic acid, in the presence of salicylic acid, was 99·3%, with a coefficient of variation of 1·04%, while the recovery of salicylic acid, in the presence of benzoic acid, was 97·7%, with a coefficient of variation of 0·68%.Keywords
