Abstract
Host range, in vitro properties, particle morphology, MW estimates of the coat proteins, and sedimentation profile of the virus were typical of viruses in the comovirus group. Serological tests proved that the virus was bean pod mottle virus. This is the 1st record of this virus in Nebraska and the 1st report of seed transmission in soybeans. Keywords
