Abstract
The theory of Rouhaninejad and Yoccoz concerned with the self-consistent calculation with projection method is extended to take into account the pairing correlation. The variational method is used in which the trial function involving a definite angular momentum is generated by using the BCS wave function. The first order correction to the self-consistent field due to the rotation contains two parts, with K=0 and with K=1. The correction to the density matrix with K=1 and that to the pairing tensor with K=1 is proportional to √I(I+1). They do not, however, contribute to the rotational energy in the lowest order of the inverse of the expectation value of the square of the angular momentum.
