Abstract
Stone artifacts from a San Pedro Stage site, Arizona EE: 8:7, near Fairbank, Arizona, are described and compared to artifacts from midden levels 3 to 5 at Ventana Cave. The site interpretation is confused slightly by a Salado occupation, but patination of the worked faces of many of the San Pedro tools aided separation of San Pedro and Salado artifacts. A temporal correlation of Arizona EE:8:7 with nearby Benson: 5:10 (San Pedro type site) and with Ventana Cave is suggested. Keywords
