Abstract
A patient was seen in 1959 who presented a disseminate and recurrent follicular eruption which seemed to be unique. Since then no similar eruption was encountered by us and no identical disorder was recorded in the literture. Because the pathologic changes principally involve the upper portions of the follicles, the designation "disseminate and recurrent infundibulo-folliculitis" was suggested unless previous cases under a different designation, overlooked, are brought to light.
