Abstract
Urinary excretion of 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid was low in 3 of 6 patients with advanced renal disease of malignant hypertension and in 2 patients with chronic glomerular nephritis. Proteinuria per se does not interfere with the determinations.Keywords
