Abstract
Members of the Pyrenomycetes and Fungi Im-perfecti were found to have hydrqlyzed cellulose in secondary wood of submerged blocks, piling, etc., in marine waters from Newfoundland to New York Harbor, causing considerable damage to wood structure. These fungi also attack various fibers used in cordage. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
