Abstract
The follicle stimulating hormone of the pituitary induced very little estrogen secretion from the ovaries of immature or hypophysec-tomized rats as measured by the increase in uterine wts. The luteinizing hormone alone produced no estrogen secretion but acted synergistically in increasing the estrogen output when injected with the follicle stimulating hormone. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
