Abstract
Cydia (= Laspeyresia) youngana (Kearfott), an olethreutine known commonly as the spruce seed moth in North America, is synonymized with C. strobilella (Linnaeus), a holarctic species. C. resinosae (Freeman) is synonymized with C. inopiosa (Heinrich). The new synonymies are supported by examinations of male and female genitalia and other characters. All known extant types were examined. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
