Abstract
Cotton stainers (Dysdercusspp.) are members of the family Pyrrhocoridae and many are pests of cotton throughout the tropics. Ten species are found in Africa (Pearson, 1958). Three of these have been established in colonies at Arusha, Tanzania. They areD. cardinalisGerst.,D. fasciatusSign. andD. nigrofasciatusStål.Keywords
