Abstract
The radiological findings in 40 childrenwith an inhaled foreign body lodged in the bronchial treee are analysed, and the value of the principal findings is discussed. A chest radiograph shows confirmatory evidence in nearly every case where a foreign body is present, but the diagnosis may be missed in some patients attending with respiratory symptoms without any indication of their underlying cause in the clinical history.
