Abstract
The presence of time jitter between the trigger signal and the sampling strobe in an equivalent-time sampling oscilloscope can cause appreciable distortion of the recorded waveform. Under additive signal averaging conditions, a method has been developed to reduce this distortion. The method consists essentially of deconvolving a jitter-related effective impulse response from the recorded waveform data.Keywords
