Abstract
A study has been made of the effect of particle size and particle size distribution on the angle of repose of granulated magnesium oxide. Particles smaller than about 100 μ diameter produce a substantial increase in the angle of repose: this has been explained in terms of frictional and van der Waal’s cohesive forces. Keywords
