Abstract
An experimental technique has been developed for measuring small liquid density differences. The technique is particularly useful for determining densities of solutions of slightly soluble gases. Density differences as small as one part in 105 can be detected with precision. We have demonstrated the applicability of the technique by measuring the density of aqueous solutions of CO2 and of SO2. For such determinations it appears that this technique is superior to any of the conventional methods of measuring densities. Keywords
