Abstract
Three enterotoxigenic strains and one nonenterotoxigenic strain of Escherichia coli were grown in milk at an initial pH of 6.5 to 8.5. One strain produced detectable levels of heat-labile enterotoxin in all cultures with an initial pH above 6.5.Keywords
