Abstract
SUMMARY: Spores formed by strains of Botrytis cinerea resistant to quintozene, tecnazene, or dicloran did not always produce resistant colonies when grown on agar in the presence of these fungicides.Only about one half of spores produced by fungicide‐vapour‐resistant strains in the absence of fungicides gave resistant colonies whereas all spores produced by the same strains in the presence of fungicides formed resistant colonies on agar.Some spores produced by resistant strains that had developed on agar containing the fungicides were not viable, but those that were always gave resistant colonies on agar.Keywords
