Abstract
Conidiomata of Sphaceloma murrayae, formed intra-and subepidermally in willow (Salix spp.) leaves, were acervular. Conidium ontogeny was phialidic i.e., the primary conidium initial developed enteroblastically and with the release of successive conidia, sets of scars formed at a similar level around the phialidic apex. Occasionally successive conidia formed through new loci in existing conidiophores. Keywords
