Abstract
Convenient, accurate and completely analytical expressions of the rovibrational eigenenergies for the Lennard-Jones (10, 6) potential are obtained from the hypervirial expressions of Mateo et al (1990) by exploiting the fact that the minimum of the LJ (10, 6) effective potential can be put in analytical form. The eigenvalues obtained from such expressions are compared with the WKB eigenvalues for the estimation of accuracy. Keywords
