Abstract
SYNOPSISFinger and head temperature, frontalis electromyography (EMG), heart rate, and finger pulse amplitude (FPA) were measured from eight migraine headache patients both during and between migraine headaches. T‐tests for correlated measures revealed significant differences between the headache‐present and headache‐free states in frontalis EMG and finger pulse amplitude, but not in the measures of temperature or heart rate. During headaches EMG was 260% greater while finger pulse amplitude constricted to about 25% of the headache‐free estimates. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
